The GM Chevrolet Parts and Accessories Catalog dated October 1962 states in parts group 5.855 that GM part # 3799122 is the CORRECT rear wheel hub bearing unit w/ retaining ring for all 1956 Corvettes and all 1955 & 56 Chevrolet passenger cars including Bel-Air, Nomad, 210 and 150 models. The New Departure part number RW507E is stamped into the bearing. One of the boxes is missing a retaining ring. These hard to find genuine GM bearings are from the inventory of an old GM 1970's dealership closeout.
